Los Angeles-based, Internet advertising and video firm Spot Runner said Tuesday that it has acquired Globeshooter, a network of independent filmmakers, videographers, photographers, producers, and production companies. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Spot Runner said it will rename Globeshooter the Spot Runner Production Network. Simon Foster, the founder of Globeshooter, will join Spot Runner as part of the acquisition. Spot Runner is venture backed by Battery Ventures and Index Ventures.
