    Stamps.com Files Patent Lawsuits


    Los Angeles-based Stamps.com has sued two firms over patents covering its Internet postage technology, the firm disclosed in a regulatory filing Monday. Stamps.com said that is has filed a lawsuit against Endicia, Inc. and PSI Systems, Inc. in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. The firm alleges infringement of eleven Stamps.com patents covering its technology. The suits were filed last week. Endicia is a Palo Alto-based maker of desktop mailing software; PSI Systems is a Palo Alto based provider of engineering services, which according to the firm is the developer of Endicia's desktop mailing software.
