Startups Move Into New EvoNexus San Diego Incubator

A group of startups have moved into a new, downtown San Diego startup incubator run by CommNexus, as that group's EvoNexus incubator expands into a second site. The incubation effort--which has been running in North San Diego at the University Towne Centre since 2009--said the new space includes 15,000 square foot, and initially includes twelve companies. Those twelve companies include Antengo, BigSho, Chatmeter, Fashioning Change, Saambaa, SwoopThat, TapChow, TapHunter, UgliApps, Voluware, Xpenser, and Zambig. EvoNexus provides furnished office space, broadband Internet and utilities, among other services, free of charge. The startup incubator effort is being headed by Kevin Hell, the former CEO of DivX. The new startups moved into the incubator last week.
