Santa Ana-based solid state memory manufacturer STEC said Monday that it has appointed Raymond D. Cook as the firm's new CFO. Cook replaces Dan Moses, who the firm says is retiring. Moses will remain on STEC's board of directors. Cook joins the firm from Mindspeed Technologies, where he was VP Finance and Corporate Controller, and had also served as interim CFO. Cook has also served at Conexant, Rockwell International, and Spicer & Oppenheimer. STEC is a manufacturer of solid state disk drives.
