Los Angeles-based, an online web site focused on webcam and live video streaming, said this morning that it has released a new application programming interface (API). According to the site, the new API allows web developers to integrate live video streaming onto their sites. The firm said it is targeting live streaming for marketing, e-learning, social networks, and customer support. Stickam explained that it will provide the first 100 registered developers with free access to the service; the firm said the service will be available in a pay-as-you-go pricing model after the beta period. Pricing for the service was not released.
