    Paciolan Raises Strategic Round


    Irvine-based Paciolan has raised a round of strategic funding for its in-house ticketing solutions from Comcast-Spectacor, a sports and entertianment conglomerate. The funding came in conjunction with a deal which calls for Paciolan to provide the technology platform for Comcast-Spectacor's ticket management business. The amount of the funding was not disclosed. Peter Luukko, Comcast-Spectacor's president, will join the Paciolan Board of Directors. Comcast-Spectacor owns the Philadelphia 76ers and Philadelphia Flyers, as well as three minor league affiliates of the Baltimore Orioles. Paciolan provides ticketing systems for individual sports and entertainment venues.
