    Acacia Scores Another Patent Win
    Newport Beach-based Acacia Research this morning said that it has licensed its credit card fraud protection technology to Petco Animal Supplies, and settled the patent infringement suit it had filed against the firm. Terms were not disclosed. Acacia said that it is now evaluating additional patent portfolios for acquisition. The firm has been active acquiring patents and aggressively pursuing a spectrum of companies with patent infringement suits in broadband video on demand, credit card fraud protection, and more.
