Vue Technology Receives VC Funding for RFID Systems
Aliso Viejo-based Vue Technology announced Wednesday that the new company has received an investment round from Partech International and Canaan Partners. The firm, formerly Intelligent Systems, was spun off from MeadWestvaco's New Ventures Group as a stand alone company. Vue Technology develops RF networking and RFID solution development. As part of the funding and spinoff, Canaan, Partech, and MeadWestvaco will all hold seats on the board of directors. Vue Technology develops RFID solutions focused on inventory management for retailers and manufacturers, allowing retailers to track product inventory levels.
