Strix Upgrades Wireless Infrastructure Product
Calabasas-based Strix Systems announced yesterday that it has upgraded its wireless networking infrastructure systems to include new quality of service, virtual networks, and security and management features. The company's Access/One Network version 2.0 provides wireless mesh networking for companies, and supports both wireless and voice over wireless LAN capability. The company's new QoS features allow the prioritization of traffic by client device or traffic type, including voice, video, and data. The system also supports the ability to create virtual wireless networks in order to segment users or traffic types.
