Stubbs Alderton & Markiles Launches Co-Working, Pre-Accelerator Program

One of the major tech focused, legal firms in Los Angeles, Stubbs Alderton & Markiles, LLP, announced today that it has launched a new co-working and "pre-accelerator" program, which will offer up access to legal services, reviews of business plans, office space, and more to companies looking to enter one of the local accelerators. The firm--which also just officially opened an office on the Third Street promenade in Santa Monica--said the new "Precellerator" will offer 5-6 entrepeneur groups rolling access to its co-working space and advice, with a target of startups looking to access accelerators and venture capital.

The new program is running out of the company's new Santa Monica office. Stubbs Alderton & Markiles (disclaimer: one of the sponsors of this site) is one of a number of legal firms and service providers which have started to focus on the growing "Silicon Beach" community, and in particular on startups in Santa Monica. The new "pre-accelerator" comes as the region has seen a sudden uptick in startup accelerators, those programs which look to help aspiring entrepreneurs learn all about creating a startup, and helps them get over the initial pains of developing and launching a company--and hopefully, will also help get them funded.
