Surf Air, the startup developing an all-you-can-fly, subscription airline, told its supporters Monday afternoon that it has received its first, three aircraft. The company said it received delivery of three, Pilatus PC-12 aircraft, as it gets closer to an anticipated launch in early 2013. Surf Air said it has been "working diligently" to complete necessary requirements for FAA certification. The company said the aircraft brings it to stage three in the process of gaining FAA certification. Surf Air is headed by Wade Eyerly.
