    Talisma Buys Knowledgebase.net

Washington-based customer relationship management (CRM) tool vendor Talisma has acquired Los Angeles-based Knowledgebase.net, a software provider in the area of customer support and self-service, the companies said yesterday. Financial terms were not disclosed. Talisma will incorporate KnowledgeBase.net's technology into its operations, and follows eighteen months of collaboration between the company on product and service offerings. Alex Kazerani, CEO of KnowledgeBase.net will join the Talisma management team. Talisma competes with SalesForce.com and Siebel in the Customer Relationship Managment (CRM) sector, and offers both online hosted and in-house versions of its software. KnowledgeBase.net's offerings are focused around online customer self-help, including FAQs and searchable self-help databases.
