Tarari Introduces Multi-Gigabit Content Processor
San Diego-based Tarari has announced a new silicon-based content processor targeted at filtering spam, viruses, and phishing. The company's Regular Expression Content Processor (RegEx-CP) is a silicon-based, multi-gigabit regular expression content processor which is designed to be integrated into servers, blades, and networking infrastructure for offloading spam filtering. The company said that the new silicon supports filtering of up to 200,000 messages per second at speeds of up to 4Gbps. The company also provides a standard API to help developers integrate its solutions.
