    Tarari Upgrades Silicon


    San Diego-based Tarari said today that it has upgraded its line of threat management acceleration silicon processors. The company said that its fourth generation Tarari Regular Expression Content processors now run from 50Mbps to 4Gbps. Tarari's processors are being used by developers to accelerate intrusion prevension, anti-spam, anti-virus, and other applications which require rapid processing. The company's chips offload procesisng of these applications.
