Tealium Taps Startup Vet Lunsford As New CEO

San Diego-based software developer Tealium, which develops software used to manage Internet "tags" for web developers, said today that it has named Jeff Lunsford as its new CEO. Lunsford, who was already on the company's board, was previously President, CEO, and Chairman of Limelight Networks. He also served as CEO of WebSideStory, in addition to other experience. The addition brings some significant experience to Tealium's executive team; Lunsford took Limelight Networks public in an IPO, and also was CEO of WebSideStory at its IPO in 2004. Tealium's software is used by enterprises to manage digital marketing tags on web pages; the firm's founders were all previously at WebSideStory, and the company recently raised funding from Battery Ventures.
