Tech CEOS Eager To Hire, According to Survey

A new study released yesterday shows that technology CEOs are eager to hire and expand their companies, with 95 percent planning to grow their workforce. According to the Deloitte 2005 CEO Survey, three quarters of CEOs are extremely or very confident about their companies' future growth. The study bolsters the belief that the technology industry has shaken its economic malaise, and is back into growth mode. The survey reports that economic concerns are only an issue for 2 perecent of the CEOs this year, down from 16 percent last year, and that CEOs are extremely confident about the future. The survey also showed that the economy and security are no longer the number one issue facing technology CEOs, with the focus now on how best to hire and grow their business. Deloitte surveyed over 150 CEOs in North America on business conditions and business challenges.
