Tekelec Promotes VP
Calabasas-based Tekelec said that it has promoted Scott Weidenfeller to SVP Global Marketing. Weidenfeller will lead the company's global marketing organization, encompassing everything from strategic marketing and channel to global sales. Weidenfeller joined Tekelec in 2003 when it acquired Santera Systems, where he was VP of product line management, marketing, and business development.
