    The Active Network Acquires InfoSpherix
    San Diego-based The Active Network said on Thursday that it has finalized its acquisition of InfoSpherix, in a deal worth $17M in cash. InfoSpherix is a provider of centralized reservations and point-of-sale services for camping, boating, and other public park services. The firm is a subsidiary of Spherix Incorporated, and employes 320 full time employees. The Active Network is a provider of applications and software for the amateur sports and community services area.
