San Diego-based The Active Network said today that it has acquired LaxPower.com, a West Chester, PA-based online community focused on high school and college lacrosse. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. LaxPower.com provides lacross rankings, results, states, news, and information for high school lacrosse. The Active Network said that it will use LAxPower.com's game results systems and rating formulas as part of its services, and that it will integrate its sports registration and other tools into the LaxPower.com web site. LaxPower.com will continue to be branded separately as part of The Active Network. The Active Network provides community based sports focused web sites, team web pages, and other services.
