ThisNext Names Morrow CEO

Los Angeles-based ThisNext said Thursday morning that it has promoted Scott Morrow to CEO of the firm. Morrow, who has been President of ThisNext since September of 2007, has also served at IAC/Citysearch and CNET. ThisNext co-founder and CEO Gordon Gould will become Executive Chairman of the company. According to ThisNext, Gould will continue to act as a public face for ThisNext, with Morrow leading day to day operations. ThisNext offers an online social shopping site where people can share their opinions on different products with their friends and other visitors; the firm is venture backed by Anthem Venture Partners and Clearstone Ventures.
