    THQ Installs International GM


    Interactive entertainment software publisher THQ Inc. announced Thursday that it has appointed Marko Hein as general manager of its international business unit. The Agoura Hills, Calif.-based company said Hein, working from THQ International GmbH's headquarters in Zurich, will help evaluate new product and platform opportunities. THQ said the responsibilities of Hein's newly created role also include leading a recently formed product evaluation team, developing product localization plans and participating in THQ's new product approval process. Prior to joining THQ, Hein was director of acquisition and development for Koch Media. THQ also said that Hein spent 12 years at Nintendo of Europe.
