THQ Loses VP, Names New Execs
Agoura Hills-based interactive game publisher THQ said Monday afternoon that it has named two new executives. The firm said that Scott Guthrie has been promoted to Executive Vice President in charges of sales, distribution, and marketing to North and South America; and also named Ian Curran to Executive Vice President for sales covering areas outside of the Americas. In a related move, the firm's current Executive Vice President of Worldwide Publishing, Kelly Flock is stepping down. The firm said that Flock is stepping down for personal reasons and will remain in a consulting role for THQ. Guthrie had previously served at The Walt Disney Company, PepsiCo and Colgate-Palmolive. Curran has previously served at Time Warner.
