Agoura Hills-based videogame maker THQ is diverging from the usual, first-person-shooter and action games genre with its latest title, saying Monday that it will be publishing a new title from author Deepak Chopra. THQ said that the new title, Leela, is focused on creating "an interactive journey of mind and body" tapping into Chopra's philosophy and the features of the Xbox 360 Kinect and Wii. According to THQ, the new title will be published later this fall. In a statement, Chopra said the game is aimed at those who "practice yoga and meditation" and have video game systems in their home. The software was developed by Curious Pictures, the media publisher behind Little Einsteins and Team Umizoomi.
