Tickets.com In Strategic Partnership

Costa Mesa-based Tickets.com, a provider of online ticketing services, disclosed this morning that it has entered into a strategic alliance with ticket trading firm StubHub, and Ballena Technologies, a provider of 3-D maps for sports and entertainment venues. According to Tickets.com, the three firm have combined efforts to show and sell tickets from both Tickets.com and Stubhub on 3-D map views powered by Ballena. The firms said that both primary and secondary tickets will be available for clients, including the San Francisco Giants, which will be the first to implement the new ticketing system. Financial details of the strategic alliance were not disclosed. Tickets.com is a unit of MLB Advanced Media.
