San Diego-based defense information and communications contractor Titan Corp. (NYSE:TTN) this morning said that it has acquired Intelligence Data Systems, a technology and professional services firm for the U.S. intelligence community, for $42.5M. Titan said that IDS provides data mining, high-performance computing, data analysis, information fusion, and information sharing expertise and will complement Titan's technical support porfolio for the intelligence community.
