    Tom's Hardware Guide, iRobot Launch Robot Competition
    Los Angeles-based Tom's Hardware Guide, an online technology publication, and iRobot Corp., the maker of the popular Roomba cleaning robot and other products, have teamed up to launch a competition for robot hobbyists and developers. The two said they are awarding $5000 in a competition for designers who use iRobot's new Create programmable robot platform. Designers are being challenged to create innovative, useful, and entertaining robots using the kit. Tom's Hardware Guide publishes a number of popular online technology review web sites.
