TransDimension Adds USB To DVD
Irvine-based TransDimension this week said that its USB software and hardware has been embedded into Pioneer's new HDD DVD recorder for the Japanese market. The Pioneer DVR-555H-S provides DVD recording with a 250GB hard disk and USB host and peripheral connectivity. The USB connectivity allows consumers to connect their DVR to their PC without using an Ethernet network. TransDimension provides a single chip USB controller for use in a wide range of electronic equipment.
