Transpera Gets Win At AP
Santa Monica-based Transpera, a provider of mobile video services for video publishers and advertisers, has been selected by the Associated Press. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to the Associated Press, its wireless customers with video-capable phones will be able to view video on a new mobile news network. Transpera will provide the mobile video services. The AP's video news service wil provide local, national, and international news videos. Transpera is venture backed by Intel Capital, Flybridge Capital (formerly IDG Ventures), and First Round Capital.
