Transpera Hires VP

Santa Monica-based Transpera, a venture backed mobile video firm, said today that it has named Nick Glassman as Vice President of Product Development. Glassman joins the firm from MediaFLO, where he was Executive Producer of the company's live video service. Glassman has also served at PacketVideo, Excite, Moxi Digital, Silicon Graphics, and Pixar Animation. Transpera provides online video publishers with a way to show those videos on mobile devices, and has received funding from Intel Capital, IDG Ventures and First Round Capital. More information »
