Trapster Claims 5M Users

San Diego-based Trapster, which operates a service for sharing speed trap locations, said today it has reached 5 million users. The firm, which develops mobile applications which alert users to red light cameras, speed traps, and police, said the growth comes from expansion onto a number of mobile platforms, including Android, Windows Mobile, Palm WebOS, Maemo, and the iPad. The firm also has apps for the iPhone, Blackberry, Nokia, Windows Mobile, Garmin, and TomTom.
