Triage Raises $3M
San Diego-based Triage Wireless today announced that it has raised $3M in a Series A funding round. Funding came from 3i and Sanderling Ventures. Triage is developing wireless medical devices for monitoring blood pressure. The company's cuffless technology continuously monitors blood pressure and transmits it to a web site for connection into medical information management systems. The company is targeting cardiac disease management, 24-hour ambulatory monioring, and in-hospital monitoring of blood pressure. David Aslin of 3i, and Tim Wollaeger and Tim Mills of Sanderling will join the board.
