    Trius Therapeutics Finds $20M


    San Diego-based Trius Therapeutics, a company developing antibacterial drugs for the treatment of serious infections, has raised $20M in a Series A funding. The funding came from Sofinnova Ventures, which led the deal, and also included InterWest Partners, Prism VentureWorks, and Versant Ventures. Trius Therapeutics was formerly known as Rx3 Pharmaceuticals.
