    Trusonic Lands Mervyns

San Diego-based Trusonic said yesterday that clothing retailer Mervyns has signed on with the company's Internet-based digital music system for in-store audio. Mervyns will use the company's digital music and messaging system throughout its stores in 13 states. Trusonic provides a web-based music platform which provides custom digital music programming, and competes against Muzak and other satellite services. The company markets a digital music player which can be managed by retailers and customized for geography.
