    Twentieth Century Fox, Loews Add Bluetooth Content At Theatres


    Twentieth Century Fox and Loews Theatres announced this morning that the companies are teaming to provide content from Fox's movies via in-theatre Bluetooth broadcasts. The movie studio and theatre chain said that they will offer ringtones, wallpapers, and trailers from a number of Fox titles using technology from San Francisco-based WideRay. Moviegoers will be able to download ringtones, movie trailers, wallpapers, and more to mobile devices with Bluetooth capability through in-theatre download stations. The companies said that the service will be available in select theaters, including Loews Univeral Citywalk in Los Angeles, as well as a thatre in New York and San Francisco. The content will be free and will be available until Mid-August.
