uSamp Reports Growth

Encino-based uSamp, the online sampling and survey firm run by Gregg Lavin and Matt Dusig, reported over the weekend that it had revenue growth over over 167 percent. Actual financials for the privately held firm were not disclosed, however, the firm claimed record growth in its year-over-year results. The company also said that it is planning to double its investment in its technology platform. uSamp is venture backed by DFJ Frontier, Greycroft Partners, OpenView Venture Partners, and Webtigo. Lavin and Dusig's last firm, goZing, was successfully sold to Greenfield Online in 2005. uSamp said it has now completed 10,000 projects for global market research companies, and has 145 employees across Los Angeles, Dallas, Trumbull, CT, London, and New Delhi.
