    UCLA Spinout Finds Series A


    Los Angeles-based ORFID Corp (www.orfid.com) announced that it has received an undisclosed amount of funding from Precision Dynamics and Convergent Ventures. The UCLA spinout is developing organic electronics based on conductive polymers, based on technology from UCLA's School of Engineering and Applied Science. Dr. Jonathan Lasch of Convergent will serve as chair and CEO of the new company.
