United Online, OpenX Tie On Advertising Technology Deal
Two, Los Angeles online advertising firms have linked up in a technology deal today. Pasadena-based OpenX Technologies, and Woodland Hills-based United Online said that the companies are in a deal, where OpenX will become the exclusive provider of digital monetization technology for display ad inventory for United Online's Juno, NetZero, and Classmates properties. Financial details of the link were not announced.
The two companies said that OpenX will provide United Online Media Group with its full monetization platform, including its real-time-bidding, ad network, direct sale, and other tools. United Online says it has more than 100 million registered accounts on its various brands.
