    United Online Launches DSL Service

Woodland Hills-based United Online has launched a new DSL service, Juno DSL, as the firm extends its DSL marketing efforts. United Online said that its new Juno Digital Subscriber Line broadband Internet service is now available in parts of 34 states and Washington DC. The new brand is targeted at the firm's existing Juno dialup subscribers. The company said the new plan will give their customers an opportunity to upgrade to faster speeds while continuing to remain Juno customers. The new service comes on top of an existing DSL offering, NetZero DSL, which is has offered since November of last year. Both plans are offered in conjunction with Verizon Internet Services and Covad Communications, which provide the actual DSL service.
