United Online Sees Growth In Classmates

Woodland Hills-based United Online reported its quarterly results Tuesday, saying that the firm had revenues of $263.6M for the quarter. The results were bolstered by strong performance at its Classmates Media business, which increased 13% year over year. The increase in services revenue at Classmates Media--up 22% year to year--more than offset a slight decline in advertising revenues in that segment. However, the firm continued to see a decline in its dialup business, which was down 18% year-to-year, and also reported a 23% drop in business at floral business FTD compared to the similar quarter last year, before FTD was acquired by United Online.
