Upfront Ventures Backs Nanit's Baby Sleep Monitors

Nanit, a startup developing connected baby sleep monitors, has raised a $6.6M funding round, led by Los Angeles-based Upfront Ventures. Nanit--which is based in Israel and New York--said the funding also included RRE Ventures, 645 Ventures, Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute, Flextronics, and Jerry Yang's AME Cloud Ventures. Nanit says it team comes from Applied Materials, Diapers.com, Philips, Time Warner and Tiny Love.
