Upfront Ventures Names Kobie Fuller As New Partner

Los Angeles-based venture capital investor Upfront Ventures has named a new Partner at the company, luring away Kobie Fuller from Accel Partners. According to Upfront Ventures, Fuller--who has invested in such companies as Oculus VR, UserTesting, Emergent VR, and Invoca--will relocate to Los Angeles with his family. Fuller previously spent time in Los Angeles, serving as Chief Marketing Officer at e-commerce company REVOLVE. Fuller previously helped found OpenView Venture Partners, was an investor at Insight Venture Partners, and also had been involved with Exact Target and Instructure. Mark Suster, who is Managing Partner at Upfront Ventures, said that attracting Fuller to join the firm was not difficult, saying "LA is the fastest growing tech ecosystem in the country and home to many VR firms" one area where Fuller will be focused on. Suster also mentioned that-given Fuller's stint at REVOLVE--LA is not a new market for him.
