    Userplane Introduces Site Search Features

Los Angeles-based community software applications provider Userplane announced this week that it has added a new community-based search engine, Userplane SiteSearch, for integration into any community-based site. The new site search application uses technology from Transparensee to search for users in a community's user database, returning the most similar matches by keyword. The site search tool integrates with sites using PHP, .NET, ASP, ColdFusion, XML, and JSP and any database software. UserPlane develops applications targeted at social networking, including chat and other Flash-based web applications. Transparensee provides a similarility recommendation engine.
