    Userplane Upgrades Chat, Messaging Apps


    Los Angeles-baed Userplane has upgraded its chat and messaging applications. The firm said that it has upgraded its Flash-based Webchat and Webmessenger applications to add streaming audio and video and mini-profiles to the chat portion, and personalization features to the web messaging app. Userplane's Webchat application also adds chat archiving, unlimited user video streams, and advanced administration functions. Userplane's software is used by social networking and other web sites.
