ValueClick Signs Automotive Advertising Firm
Westlake Village-based ValueClick has signed a deal with Jumpstart Automotive Media, an advertising network focused on the automotive industry, the firms said today. Jumpstart will represent ValueClick's online display advertising and lead generation inventory to the automotive industry. Jumpstart provides behavioral advertising for automotive manufacturers. The deal calls for ads to be re-targeted when visitors visit any of ValueClick's network of web sites. Re-targeting and behavioral ad serving is used to present ads that the ad network determines you might be in the shopping process for; for example, once you've visited an automotive manufacturer's web site for information, to re-target advertising on other web sites so that you see ads for that auto manufacturer again.
