    ValueClick Suit Withdrawn


    Westlake Village-based ValueClick (www.valueclick.com) announced that a lawsuit brought by a former employee has been withdrawn. The company had by sued by a former executive of ValueClick's subsidiary BeFree, Joseph Lorenc, who had claimed that Be Free had promised to provide him with 1.5 percent of Be Free common stock. Lorenc agreed to dismiss his case against ValueClick and Be Free, in exchange for ValueClick's agreement not to pursue attorney's costs for defense of the company. Lorenc was VP of Client Services for BeFree.
