    Velocity Interactive Group Adds Partner


    Los Angeles-based Velocity Interactive Group, the venture capital firm led by Ross Levinsohn and Jon Miller, said this morning that it has added Mickie Rosen as an investment partner at the company. According to Velocity, Rosen will focus on video, music, social media, publishing, games, and online advertising at the firm. Rosen joins Velocity Interactive from Fox Interactive Media, where she was Senior Vice President and General Manager, Entertainment. Rosen headed up FIM's efforts in Rotten Tomatoes and AmericanIdol.com, and according to Velocity led efforts in creating Hulu, FIM's joint venture with News Corp and NBC Universal. Rosen has also served at Fandango, a number of Idealab companies, Disney, and McKinsey and Company. Rosen will be based in Los Angeles.
