Vendare Group Renames Itself, Appoints Chairman

Sherman Oaks-based The Vendare Group said this week that it has changed its name to Vendare Media. The company said that the name change was made to better reflect the company's focus on online media solutions. The company also said that it has named Robert Kavner as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Kavner is chairman of Earthlink, Ironport Systems, and serves on the board of Savage Beast and Idealab. Vendare Media is majority owned by Idealab.
