Veoh, the Los Angeles and San Diego-based video sharing startup backed by Michael Eisner, has inked a new deal for a NCAA Football section of the firm's services. Veoh said that it has signed a deal with Collegiate Images, LLC, to launch a NCAA Football channel on its service. The new content includes football game highlights from the NCAA, which users can view and also embed on their MySpace and other social networking site pages and blogs. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Collegiate Images, LLC is a licensing and rights clearance agency for video and still images from college sports. Veoh is venture backed by Goldman Sachs, Shelter Capital Partners, Spark Capital, Michael Eisner's Tornante Company, and Time Warner Inc., along with individuals.
