Verari Rolls Out Dual-Core AMD Opteron Blades

San Diego-based Verari Systems said today that it will begin offering blade server systems based on the new Dual-Core AMD Opteron processor. The company said that it plans to roll out the AMD dual-core technology throughout its product line by early June. Verari develops a line of blade servers which minimize footprint and optimize density of computer systems. The company's BladeRack blade server system can support up to 66 nodes containing 132 Dual-Core AMD processors. The systems are being used by large companies and research institutions to pack a high number of systems together for grid and utility computing.
