San Diego-based Verimatrix, a venture-funded provider of IPTV security technology, said this week that the firm has signed on three TV operators in Russia. According to Verimatrix, it has signed on Iskratelecom, Tattelecom and Bashinformsvyaz as customers working in conjunction with systems integrator and reseller CTI. Financial impact of the wins was not disclosed. Iskratelecom provides IPTV services in Moscow and Tattelecom, in the Republic of Tatarstan. Verimatrix is venture backed by JK&B Capital, Goldman Sachs, and SunAmerica Ventures.
